I WISH I COULD FIND somebody that can make me believe that we don’t need SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS. I  along with others agree on the issue and the importance of representation from the entire city of Amarillo. TAXSATION WITHOUT REPERSENTATION  is unconstitutional and this unfair visible display speaks for it’s self. I am talking about the PICTURES THAT ARE POSTED ON BLACKAMARILLO.COM , on the Poorly planned  SIDEWALKS THAT HAS BEEN LAID ON NORTH HUGHES STREET . This is showing the Past and Present Quality of work and service that is enforced upon TAX PAYERS AND PROPERTY OWNERS in NORTH HEIGHTS AMARILLO TX. The people have been victimized and oppressed for over 50 years by our CITY GOVERNMENT. Our FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ALLOCATES FUNDING TO ADDRESS THE VERY TYPE  SITUATION THAT WE ARE BEING CONFRONTED WITH NOW. It has been over 100 years and North Hughes did not have a pedestrian safe, Handicapped accessiable  sidewalk in place on the main THURFARE INTO THE BLACK COMMUNITY.  HUGHES Street is not only a Residential street but also a Commercial street and has heavy traffic flow of over 1000 to 8000 vehicles daily on a TWO LANED STREET. The City of Amarillo Did Not Want SIDEWALKS ON NORTH HUGHES AND DID EVERYTHING TO PREVENT OR DENY the PROJECT PURPOSAL THAT WAS presented for funding approval. After The application was submitted a second time the EAST Side was approved for funding to put side walks down. In order to get the funding for the WEST SIDE  another project narrative was updated and presented , and The City of Amarillo agreed to pay for it with the STIMILUS MONEY  The CITY OF AMARILLO IS VIOLATING THE CIVIL RIGHTS OF THE NORTH HEIGHTS TAX PAYER AND PROPERTY OWNER by refusing to live up to their own city ordinances to keep all communities safe and clean , and to keep our neighborhood clean and put the right and safe Infrastructure in place . The North Height residents are also being DISCRIMINATED against and not treated fairly as the citizens on the SOUTH SIDE OF AMARILLO. The work being done on the SIDEWALKS is not only disgusting and an INSULT, but our MAYOR  spoke to me over the phone last week and I appealed to her to  please  ” COME SEE WHAT I SEE”, again and to  help in making  sure the work was done right and also to help improve the community and the property that is City property. Many properties are out of conformity with the overall landscape of the street in several places and need to be addressed , and easily could with stimulus funding but OUR MAYOR SAID NO , and that she would uphold what ever the  CITY Engineers decided to do. Well what we see in the Pictures tells us  that their intentions are to ignore the PROPERTY OWNERS / TAXPAYER in North Amarillo. I know that if you drive all over Amarillo and look at the other sidewalks that have been put in other communities they  have not been put down like this and this would not have been accepted . Why is the City allowing this travesty here in NORTH AMARILLO ?  What A SHAME !   NOW I ASK AGAIN ” WHO KILLED NORTH HEIGHTS AMARILLO TX” ?

It was 5 years ago in 2005, that the first grant application was submitted for sidewalks for North Hughes Street to the Community Development Block Grant Committee of the City of Amarillo. It was the beginning of a vision I had and still do have from 2005 when the North Amarillo Community Task Force was appointed by Mayor Debra McCartt. I wrote and presented a poem to our Mayor asking her to help clean up our community at a community meeting held at the United Citizens Forum.  My vision is to improve my community and the infrastructure of my neighborhood and make  Hughes Street a SAFE USER FRIENDLY Street for the pedestrians that have to utilize it everyday .” Changing our streets is an issue that touches on livability in a community for everyone ”, says Dan Burden, the founder of walkable Communities for everyone in the 2007 AARP Bulletin.

The effort of a few concerned and determined community active residents worked together and put together their time and skills to apply for funding , thru a grant from the Community Development Block Grant and the City of Amarillo. Those Involved were : Fransetta Crow, Diana King Smith, Dwight Cowens and other volunteers . Because of our efforts, the main Thurfare in  NortHeights Amarillo will finally get sidewalks and handicap accessible ramps to allow disabled people to travel in a safe manner along with many other people that live in the community. This project began today and the construction company has already demonstrated that they are not intendending to improve our community but intend to PIECE MILL the sidewalks and not make it uniformed and in order and compliance with government standards. Not only is this an insult to the NorthHeights residents and tax payers, but a violation of the use of Federal Dollars.

We have waited for over 80 years to get sidewalks for the first time while many parts of the city not only have uniformed sidewalks in their community but paved alleys as well . Now that we finally qualify to get sidewalks, the City has approved the half hearted botching and throwing together a poorly planned project that will not improve the appearance of our community, and will also have to be readdressed in the future if not done right. WE WANT OUR SIDEWALKS TO BE AN IMPROVEMENT NOT A PIECE MILLED JOKE. We need to call the city leaders and complain about this unprofessional mess that has been approved . In the Independent Newspaper last week  there is an article that talks about the Revitalization of Downtown Amarillo, and sidewalks are part of the plan.  I am  sure that they won’t patch up and piece mill the sidewalks while using part of our tax dollar. Something needs to be said,and the community needs to protest the intentions of the City of Amarillo and the Construction Co. that has contracted to half do a job that is long, long, long over do.

” When people walk out their doors, their streets should give them the option to walk, drive, ride a bus or  ride a bike “, says Bill Wilkings , executive director of the National Center for Bicyling and Walking. Commitment to  pedestrian safety is part of a project known as COMPLETE STREETS. There was a bill in 2007 in the Senate that require any road project using federal funds to meet complete standards. It is also a violation of federal and State equal access disability laws, for failing to maintain and upgrade pedestrian walkways. Improving the infrastructure of a low Income neighborhood by installing sidewalks is not only good for the disabled, Senior citizens, individuals, but the community as a whole.

I AM PROUD TO HAVE BEEN APART OF A PROJECT THAT WILL BE ANOTHER POSITIVE IMPROVEMENT FOR THE  NORTHEIGHTS Community and North Amarillo. However there is rumor that there are some people that don’t feel that sidewalks are needed on North Hughes and is a waste of money. Well my reply to them is: “It might not be important to you, but it is to those who use it every day and put themselves in harmsway .” If you don’t live in a community I don’t feel you should have a voice  or power to make decisions that affect other tax payers livelihoods. We as Black people should be aware of those that are suppose to be representing us, and  or assigned or voted for to render a service for those that voted for them. Black Amarillo we need to wake up!!!

If you don’t feel sidewalks are needed on NORTH HUGHES, write me and comment on what you think. If you Want to comment on the City approving the poor construction of the sidewalks in our community and think it’s wrong speak up now we want you to stand up with us and fight for the right thing.  The next Project is to get The DEAD TREES REMOVED FROM OUR COMMUNITY. I hope it won’t take 5 more years, maybe the City of Amarillo will apply some of that Stimulus Money to accomplish that problem also.

This is the most wonderful time of the year, but many have the true purpose mixed up with man made traditions. “When I was growing up we were taught the true meaning of Christmas” said one of my friends, “Now we can’t even speak about it in public”. . I knew exactly what she was talking about, but the main issue now was to remind man why we are here celebrating this season.

I’m so glad I found somebody that was willing to talk to me on this subject. All this- Tis The Season and The Fa- La- La- La  is the commercial engine that drives the celebration of Christmas  from Nov. 27th to Dec. 31st . I don’t have to go into detail about the Media , Businesses, Organizations, Charity and the commercial part of  giving but not saying the real meaning of why we are giving.To day it’s all about Shopping and Buying, Eating and Drinking, Continous Celebrations with lot’s of Cheer. HO! HO! HO!

Christmas Joy , Hope , Wishes , Cheer, Holiday Greetings and Season Greetings has become the normal words used today in order not to offend anyone concerning their Religious beliefs. I believe I have been very careful not to offend anyone so far.

This Christmas I want to remind us of the reason why we  celebrate and the word defines WHO and Why we continue to celebrate Christmas.   Websters definition of the word ” DIGINITY”: The Quality or state of being Excellent! The word” Dignitary” :A Person of High Rank, Notability and Influence.

 ”That’s It !,  We took the Diginity out of Christmas or lost it” I said to my friend ,” That word is describing someone GREAT”.  That is what the real meaning of Christmas is about which is to reconize a Special Birth that, if it had not happened there would be nothing and anyone to celebrate any other relegious beliefs.

Now I don’t know about you but when I read this definition I couldn think of only ONE NAME. While you are giving out Christmas gifts this year. Why don’t you put the real purpose for this season in a box and give to as many as Will Receive it. Let’s celebrate the Diginity of Christmas and the Birth of JESUS together .

IT IS MY PLEASURE TO remind us all of ” CHRISTMAS DIGINITY” and hope it will remind us WHO Christmas is truly about!

Oh yes, while I’m here let me wish:“ ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR”!!!

Wow!!  What an experience it is to lose your Mother ! There can never be the right words to express the pain that presses on your heart, a pain that I have been told by those who came to consol me will never go away.

There were so many kind words spoken about my mother, that I could not stay sad for very long and she was an Amazing Woman and  touched many lives with a labor of service and of  love.

Each person that I talked to could tell me of there own personal encounter with my mother, in worship, work , service , leisure or otherwise, she always addressed a situation with Quiet, Gental, Wisdom.  SHE WAS MY HERO! and the most positive role model in my life. My only hope is to try to live up to her legacy, which will take me the rest of my life. She mothered 14 children and instilled into each of them a solid foundation along with my father Hershel Mitchell of the Knowledge of God and Jesus Christ. That Is the Best Gift that she gave us and left with us which is the sustaining power to help us to continue on with life.

I want to take this opportunity to extend a Personal Thank You in be half of the Lena Mitchell Family for all the love, flowers, cards and kindness given by her Friends , Churches and Community and for your support, our Friends, Classmates and Family Friends during this time of grief and celebration of our mothers home going.

You taught and instilled in each of us to always be proud and strong, and we are all determined to stand together and to carry on. You told us not to miss one beat one minute or one day, for there is so much work to do, and people to help as we journey on our way. You gave us a strong foundation and now we are able to stand on our own, but we’ll always know that you are near, and we are not alone. You are always by our side in the Spirit, and  within each heart, we can always find you still at home MOTHERS ARE LIKE THAT, YEAH THEY ARE !!!

Hello, for those of you that do not know me, let me take this moment to introduce myself.  My name is FRANSETTA CROW, I am a 59 year old Black female, a native of Amarillo Texas and have been an active citizen and have served my city and community for over 35 or more. I have been a law abiding citizen and have played by the rules as a team player, for the betterment of my community and city.  Many people in Amarillo, have met me or know me from serving or working together on a committee, or as a volunteer here in the city.

There is an old saying that states “YOU CAN’T LEAD WHERE YOU CAN’T GO AND YOU CAN’T TEACH WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW”!  Well, I can truly say that I have experienced racism all my life, and like most Black Americans you learn to live with it and suffer quietly and go on, but this time this recent experience did something to me on the inside and it has changed me and has hurt me in a way that words cannot express. I’ve Lost HOPE in my city and country.

On August 25, 2009 my CIVIL RIGHTS were violated. I was Victimized , Discriminated against by employees and Harrased and Threatened  by a customer in my attempt to utilize a service that is suposed to be open to the public  FEDEX KINKO now FEDEX OFFICE  located at 3801 Olsen Suite 2, Amarillo Tx. This experience has changed my life and my view on the fact that DISCRIMINATION and RACIAL HATE is ALIVE AND WELL RIGHT HERE  RIGHT NOW IN 2009 and my spirit is grived . This has affected me mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Many people who read this will not understand why I am addressing this matter, but you would feel different if  your Mother, Sister, Wife, Daughter, Aunt, Cousin or Niece  was submitted to the treatment that I was subjected to. I did attempt to file a formal complaint, to no avail and I did try to find legal assistance here in Amarillo with zero success. I Wish I could Find someone to help me stand up to this company and advocate for my rights as a Human Being and a Consumer with equal rights to speak and have the safety as a consumer in a public place in America and for those in the future who are victims of Consumer ABRUSE.

My rights have been violated based on the CIVIL RIGHTS ACT of 1964, and The HATE CRIMES STATISTICS ACT of 1990. We all have a constitunal right to be treated equal under the Law.

Discrimination is treating someone different because of Race, Ethnic and Cultural differences or Physical disadvantages. Harrashment is unwelcomed behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile and an offensive enviorment that is  created by another person. Hate Crimes are crimes committed aganist a person because of race . Racism is a type of discrimination and is often subtle, but the person who is the victim is forced to accept and endure the assualt and intimindation with little or no recourse.

“”BLACK MIDDLE- CLASS RAGE”", is based on poor service, treated with disrespect, refusal of service. This is not flat denial of service but is insidious to lesser treatment, bad service, or disrespectful behavior toward a person of a different race. It is known as racial intolerance. This type of subliminal treatment is HUMILATING RACIAL INJUSTICE and  leaves a feeling of VICTIMIZATION. I know that I am not the only African American that has been a victim and are still told to believe in the American system, yet are violated daily. This experience has only confirmed to me that after all that has been done, by Martin Luther King and many others that have stood and fought for CIVIL RIGHTS for over 400 or more years, that I AM STILL NOT FREE because MY HUMAN RIGHTS ARE STILL BEING VIOLATED and my FIRST AMMENDMENT RIGHT! I am told by my government that it’s ok and then it is swept under the carpret as if it is not happening. If you have a complaint and have experienced  a problem with service and or treatment with a company you need to speak out and let others know what you have had to endure in your city. Talk about it on TWITTER, FACEBOOK or anywhere you can tell the public and OH YES ! by all means DON’T PATRONIZE THESE BUSINESSES! I plan in the future to publicly list all and any business that violate me , so should anyone else, these people are not above the law and they need to be held accountable . FEDEX OFFICE if you don’t want African American business why don ‘t you POST IT TO THE PUBLIC instead of allowing your employees and upper management to mistreat your customers and then blow it off as if you would a dog. I am A Human Being, I am not an Animal. I am A Mother, Daughter,Wife, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and a niece. May God Have Mercy on you.

by Fransetta Crow OK !!!  I’ve heard this statement all my life about  when  you are engaded in conversation with persons in public to never discuss Religion or Politics. Well I have tried very hard to avoid the subject but today I can no longer be quiet on this matter. So I ask the question , what do the two have in common? How has the two affected our world and lives today?  There is such a close relationship between the two that most people don’t or refuse to look at the similarities. They make decisions and react based on the other. This affects all and most of the time it brings on bad decisions and usually unproductive results. “ Mankind”, from the beginning has always desired, persued and basically needed to have two systems in place , no matter how primative or prehistoric. They need a leader and they wanted a GOD or some enity to worship. Most people will agree that this principal still applies today in our modern society,and this is where the problem lies. It has created more division in the world than any other issue in the world. Let’s take a minute to look at the RELIGIOUS side of this conversation. Most of mankind don’t want GOD, and find it hard to worship or follow the laws or principals passed down through time of the UNSEEN GOD. They want something that they can see and touch. I dare not mention that all the religions that man has put in place have failed and is at a critical crossroads as we speak. WHY? Because  Christanity, Catholic and the Muslim Religions have all failed to accomplish what Gods plan and purpose for mankind is. ORGANIZED RELIGION was never GOD’S intention for man and as a result  man has used it to decieve, divide, destroy and cause irreversible damage and harm to one another as human beigns.  Now you are probably saying, what has this to do with Politics? Ok let’s talk about how the evil wheel of Politics overlaps the issue. Most people involved in POLITICS claim or profess some type of religion and will use their beliefs to influence their decisions when making Laws that affect the masses based on what they belive, not on the Spiritual Laws That GOD passed down for man to live by and  that rule society and mankind. Because we have ignored sound instructions we have caused our world to become a troubled, unsafe and unhappy place. We have decided to allow Leaders who have their own agenda to rule. The Church has failed and has allowed this to happen. GODS Plan has been aborted  and he has been dethroned for Leaders that profess to be ordained and inspired of God,within our Churches and our Political system . They are infact wolves in sheep clothing. What a mess we have now, not just in America, but all over the world based on ORGANIZED RELIGION which is the 2nd problem that exist in the World and  is the major source inside our Government and the Political arena that has so many people angry and rebelling aganist the issues that threatens the PEACE, TRANQUILITY AND PROSPERITY OF MANKIND and America today. All the changes that are taking place in our system and world is based on POLITICS and RELIGION, NOT GOD’ s LAWS. That’s why everything is out of CONTROL! I just wish I could find someone who feel like I do and will say YES! to the truth and tell someone else to seek GOD, not man but GOD,  and Will tell our Leaders to stop mixing ORGANIZED RELIGION WITH POLITICS!!! Has History taught us anything?  It’s Time to SEEK GOD’S FACE!! Man Can’t FIX THE PROBLEM, Only GOD.

HEALTH CARE REFORM ,It’s  called : ” SABOTAGE” , and this could be the biggest challenge for President OBAMA ,short of having to declare another war. Well maybe that is what he has already done . I don’t mean on another country but right here in good old United states of America. I expressed this thought to a friend and he looked at me as if I had slapped his face. ” Well I said , Look at the reaction  that people have displayed concerning the HEALTH CARE REFORM issue, What are they so angry about”? The TOWN HALL meetings have gotten out of control, “Have everybody gone crazy” ?

” Look! Here is the real deal ,we all are apart of it and the remendy is going to affect all of us, no matter how we feel about Health Care Reform. We all realize, something has to be done, to fix this problem sonner or later “.

My friend just stared at me for a few seconds and then he said ” You know I can see what you are really saying “.  ” This is opening up Pandoras Box, it is giving everyone that still had some unleashed, pinned up anger that was not resolved during the election an avenue to vent.” They are still upset because he won”. Those Town Hall Meetings are meerly people that are not informed on the plan and have not allowed everyone a chance to get a complete understanding of what the plan is about. IT’S UN AMERICAN says Nancy Pelosi, It’s an attemp to stop or block another persons right to speak or be heard. Many Special Interest organizations are using scare tactics  to stir up a storm of anger and confrusion. We also need to add a new word to the dictionary ,  UNIPOLITICS , yes thats what I said. No one can really claim one Political Party. One day you are a Democrat and the next you are a Blue Dog Democrat, or today you are a Republican or Liberal or an Independent. They all change with the wind, and when it suits their mood swing, now we have a mess , we might as well forget about the Political Parties or process and become uncivilized as we are acting now!  Many of the people that are protesting againist this issue are againist ANYTHING that OBAMA will do or attemp to accomplish because they are part of a group of people attempting to SABOTAGE his term in office. It’s a ploy being used by the Republicans and others in the media to hurt and try to destroy any good that would prove that OBAMA Is doing well and his second 100 days have been successful. I wish I cared about SARA PALIN and her mean little game of politics. She disappoints me each time she opens her mouth or shows upon the scene. Where did she come up with the concept of  a ” DEATH PANEL”? She continously confirms that she is not presidental material, She should just go somewhere and take a coffee break. We are talking about APPLES and ORANGES here and it’s not about Health Care Reform, but people that would rather see a Political WAR in our Country at a time when we should be pulling together as a country to survive the Economic Crisis that we are dealing with and Mr. OBAMA is trying to fix. He did not create this monster and Americans need to give him a chance to fix it.

Bottom line is that the Health Care Reform is going to pass as soon as the INSURANCE CO., PHARMACUTIAL Co., and our GOVERNMENT work out the Main Factor MONEY!!!! COEXISTANCE Not RACISM!!! WE as a HUMAN RACE all need to stop all the drama that we are inflicting on each other under the disguise of RACIAL HATE . This is a subject that has been brought to the fore front of our society for many Generations. It is sad . We can to go to the Moon and yet we can’t understand the basic and simple answer to ending racial division. CO_EXISTANCE is the answer it’s so simple a baby could understand it unless it was taught different. What a waste of positive energy and insult to our Creator concerning his purpose and plan for creating mankind in different races, who can stand up to him and tell him, and who gave you the power to judge and condem others based on the color of their skin?

This morning I stood at one of my windows and watched the birds fly and flutter as they fed their young and themselves. I noticed that they all did so together. There were different sizes, colors and species and they all ate together in peace. It was as if they knew the spiritual law and universal law of the right to exist. When they finished feeding they all flew away with their own group.To each his own is a survival tool and there is nothing wrong with it.The important thing is that they allowed each a God given right to life, a right to co-exist.

RACISM is a negative mind-set that has been taught and passed down thur the generations, of hate and division, to try to control another group of people. It only causes problems and reflects the ignorance and inferiority complex of those attempting to force their beliefs on others. It can be verbal, physical, mental, subliminal or spiritual. However it is used it causes harm and division. It is a violation of a human right to exist. GOD FORBID!

President OBAMA gave a response on a current incident that happened to Henry Gates, he said “Racism is a factor in our society”. Here we are in 2009 as a free nation and we are still stuck on stupid. It doesn’t have to be this way and we as the human race must change this.

We  can stop all the racial hate only when we look for the things that we all have in common.We all need to live and we can only get it from each other,  “Human kind” that sustaines us all. Yeah! we need each other. It’s the Blood, we all have the same blood and as the Bible states ‘That Life is in the blood and without it we cease to exist. Here is a quick test: Try to have a blood transfrusion with any animal, Ape, dog, horse, lion or any other animal and see if you will survive.We must learn to co-exist and the very importance to do so as a human race, not based on the color of our skin  but on what we all have in common. This is life and it comes in multiracial color. Let us all learn this lesson today and that is that WE ARE ALL IMPORTANT TO ONE ANOTHER AND WE HAVE A HUMAN RIGHT TO EXIST AND TO LIFE.My black blood just might save you, or your families life and if you have a problem with that GO TALK TO GOD!! As Walter Cronkite would say ‘THAT’S THE WAY IT IS’.***

IT’s Hotter Than HOT!!!     MICHAEL JACKSON

It’s time again to speak on the The Hot issues , so let’s by all means enter into conversation! Health Care Reform, Palin, Franken, Stanford, Unemployment, Cash for Clunkers and so and so on. There is so much in the news and It changes so fast ,one can hardly keep up with it all, let along have a decent conversation about it. Out of all the News that has happened in the world the most Newsworthy and the HOTTEST IS MICHAEL JACKSON. It is for that reason and that reason alone that I have decided to dedicate this column to him and in his Memory.

A ray of Light has left our presence, and mankind the world over realizes this. There are times in history when someone or some thing special happens and the whole world stops and takes notice. The death of Michael Jackson has been one and we all know it weather we acknowledge or except the reality of it.

SUMMERTIME AND THE LIVING IS EASY…so the song goes, but that was then and this is now. As we enter into summer there are many issues that are affecting the “living is easy” part. I encourage your input but, I still have to do what I have  to do, and that is to speak on the issues and share , events, information and offer an open dialogue for others to exercise their First Ammendment right the freedom of speech.

SO I SAY LET THE CONVERSATION BEGIN…! Locally there will be a Juneteenth Celebration, Parade, and lot”s of fun activities along with a Special Dj “LADY COOLBREEZE ” Mrs. Ruby Lewis all taking place at the United Citizens Forum for information call 806 3798247. Let us remember Fathers Day and all our Fathers. The pools are open, Wonderland park is open, and many youth projects are available . I encourage parents to make sure your child have a fun and safe summer.The North YMCA offer many programs for every one check them out 806 3731811.  Gasoline is going up daily!! Excel will increase  also Atmos Gas, which is not making living easy as we all are  incuring new challenges financially. Oh yes! Postage went up without any pre notification. There will be a “special” book signing on African Americans of Amarillo, on June 20, at 2:00 pm at Sams Club 2201Ross-Osage call 3746651. You must make it part of your Juneteenth weekend activities. The North Hughes Street clean-up  will begin 6-15 09-to 6-19- 09 sponsored by GIVINGBACK commuity services. Nationally: I wish I could get somebody to make me understand what  Govenor Rick Perry is trying to prove, It does not seem that he is aware of what he was elected to do, we all need repersenting not just the rich. What about Mac Thornberry? Did these people forget their purposes? Amarillo we are in trouble. Did anyone say yes to the possibility of tax increase on Soda, Beer and  Wine, called the “SIN TAX” . What next?  Icecream!

Globally: President OBAMA was successful in his effort to open a dialogue with the Muslim World. Now they want to say he’s the Antichrist. It is going to take time to rebuild the respect and confidence of the United States  toward the rest of the world, one stept at a time. Racist, I don’t Think so. That’s what I think about the Sonia Sotomayor  issue. Oh yeah Rusch Limbaugh and Newt and Cheney can hop to the moon,  their  days are over!  Health Care Reform is the next task on Obama list . The question is can he pull this one off . Some are saying that he is ushering in socialism, I feel that he is walking a tight line, and he knows the importance of the issue.The H1N1 virus has become pandemic stage with 29.000 cases in 73 countries, but it’s still nothing to be alarmed about. Yeah Right!!!

Before I leave I want to encourage you all to give something back to your community this summer, work with a Youth Project, help a Senior Citizen, a Disabled or Homeless person, Mentor, Volunteer or just share , it will mean so much to the one on the recieving end.
